What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the most abundant cannabinoids found in the cannabis and hemp plant. CBD oil is non-intoxicating, has no known adverse side effects, and is virtually impossible to lethally overdose. 

Hemp-derived medicine has been traditionally used across many cultures for centuries. For years, CBD had been neglected while recreational and medical users and scientists focused on the mind-altering chemical, THC. Today, scientists around the world are studying all of the 100+ cannabinoids found in cannabis and hemp including CBD, THC, CBN, CBG, and CBC.

What is CBG?

CBG or Cannabigerol (CBG), is another Cannabinoid found in the hemp plant that is slowly emerging in studies. CBG is commonly known as the ‘parent’ molecule and when broken down creates other cannabinoids such as THC and CBD.   

CBG directly reacts to the CB1 (found in the brain and central nervous system) and CB2 (found in the immune system) endocannabinoid receptors. While THC heightens psychoactive effects, CBG assists with reducing the paranoia or anxiety caused by high levels of THC in the body.   

What CBD does Duo Senses use?

Duo Senses human CBD oils and capsules are infused with Broad Spectrum CBD and all topicals are infused with Full Spectrum CBD 

Duo Senses Pet Products are infused with CBD isolate. 

Where are Duo Senses products produced?

All products are produced and manufactured right here in Canada, handcrafted and many in small-batches to maintain the highest quality and consistency possible.  

Is Duo Senses CBD/CBG third-party tested?

As a customer, you can be confident that what is listed on the label reflects the product that is in the bottle. Every batch of CBD/CBG is third-party tested to ensure its potency and quality before it gets manufactured into Duo Senses products. Once products are produced, it is then sent for another round of third-party testing to ensure the potency of the product is the right consistency. 

Third-party lab testing means we ship our product to a lab where every batch of hemp is tested. These test results can be found here. 

Is CBD/CBG products intoxicating?

CBD/CBG products are non-intoxicating, it will not make you feel stoned or high. 

How long will a 30ml bottle last?

Typically 15-30 days. It depends on personal dosage and usage. To read more on what dose is right for you, click here. 

Will Duo Senses CBD/CBG show up on a drug test?

Duo Senses CBD/CBG contains no THC, therefore you can be ensured that by taking any of the CBD/CBG oils or capsules, you will NOT test positive on a drug test. 

Can I travel with Duo Senses products?

It is recommended to check country and provincial laws before travelling.

What should I look for when buying CBD/CBG oil?

Consider the following questions: 

  1. Where and how is the hemp grown and/or sourced from?
  2. Is the oil full spectrum, broad or wide spectrum, or isolate? 
  3. What other ingredients are in the oil? 
  4. Is it third-party tested? — This is a big one because it will provide ingredient and potency details. 

Do you test on animals?

No! Never!

Usage

What are Duo Senses products used for?

Duo Senses CBD/CBG is used for a wide range of concerns, aiding in restoring balance in our bodies. Some research shows CBD/CBG can help with relief from inflammation, pain, and anxiety. 

How is Duo Senses oil administered?

Duo Senses CBD/CBG oil is versatile and can be used both orally or topically with both humans and pets. 

  1. Shake well before using. 
  2. Twist the cap off. 
  3. Fill the dropper to desired amount. 
  4. How to use: 
  • Drop directly under your tongue, hold for 15-30 seconds and then swallow 
  • Make it a pairing: take with a wholesome snack. 
  • Duo Senses CBD oil can also be used as a topical. Apply drops directly to your skin or add to your favorite lotion.

How do I use Duo Senses CBD Oil safely?

Our suggested starting point for new users is 0.5ml of oil at a time, but CBD is meant to be experimented with. Your body has a unique endocannabinoid system, so you’ll have a different sweet spot than the next person.

How is Duo Senses Capsules administered?

Duo Senses CBD capsules are a set dose which helps with dosing consistency and is only for human consumption.

How can I update my order?

Changes and/or updates to orders need to be submitted before the order is shipped. Please email us at info@duosenses.ca as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to process your request.

How can I check the status of my order?

When your order ships, we’ll send you a tracking number so you can keep an eye on delivery. You can access all of your order information on your Duo Senses customer account dashboard or through email notifications.

What is the best way to place a larger order?

What should I do if I received the wrong product?

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged as soon as your order is accepted and processed.

Shipping

Where do you ship?

Currently within the United States and Canada. For those living outside of these countries, contact info@duosenses.ca for options.

What are the shipping options?

Canada Post Standard Shipping 3-5 business days in Canada and 5–10 business days for the United States. 

Purolator Priority Shipping 1-2 business days in Canada and 2-3 for the United States. 

Please note: the COVID-19 pandemic has effected these shipping timelines, please except delays on all shipments. We apologize for the inconvenience.  

When will my order ship?

All orders ship within business day. As soon as the order ships, you’ll receive a shipment notification email with a tracking number. 

Please note: We ship from Monday to Friday. Any order placed over the weekend, will be processed the following business day. 

We ship all orders via Canada Post or Purolator. 

I am having problems with tracking my order.

Email us at info@duosenses.ca, including your order number and tracking number if possible. 

After a package has been marked as DELIVERED and the package cannot be located, we require a 24-36 hour wait time to ensure Canada Post or Purolator will not make another attempt for delivery. 

How can I edit my shipping address?

If your order is shipping to an incorrect address, please attempt to intercept the package with Canada Post by visiting Canadapost.ca or Purolator by visiting Purolator.ca or email info@duosenses.ca as soon as possible. 

Once an order is placed, please review the order confirmation and email within 1 hour for any updates. 

What if my order is marked delivered but is nowhere to be found?

After a package has been marked as DELIVERED and the package cannot be located, we require a 24-36 hour wait time to ensure Canada Post or Purolator will not make another attempt for delivery.

If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund on the purchase price within 30 days of order. Please email info@duosenses.ca

Who does the 30-Day Guarantee Policy apply to?

Our 30day guarantee policy is applies to only first-time buyers. 

When does the 30-Day period start?

The trial period begins on the day you receive your package in the mail, and you are eligible for the next 30 days. 

Why have a guarantee policy?

Not all bodies are the same. CBD oil is still a new product for most people, and first-timers will have no idea whether or not CBD oil can give them their desired results. We also know that our customers are putting a lot of faith in us. Our goal is to deliver on that faith through quality products, and we want to give you the chance to test that out before making a decision. 

One pillar that we believe in is that we’re here to help people access and discover CBD without any strings attached. That’s where the 30-day guarantee policy kicks in. If you don’t like it, you can return it – simple as that.

What if I want to try multiple products?

The 30-day policy applies to only one product per customer. If this is your first time trying CBD/CBG, we suggest ordering one product to try first before exploring more. If you do choose to order multiple, only one product will be eligible for a refund at the end of your trial period.
